In terms of future trends, she says, "I definitely see people planning more frequent smaller events for friends, family, clients or colleagues - barbecues, picnics, dinner parties, etc., and entertaining in their home more often and when possible."

When we came in to visit them at their headquarters on Bathurst Street, they were in the process of planning a large Moroccan feast to take place in a client's backyard. Along with putting together an authentic menu and gathering the materials to make guests feel like they were in a Sultan's tent, Assistant Event Planner Oli Pavlovic was busy hunting down a live camel and a mhendi (henna) artist.

As crazy as this may sound, this is nothing new for them. "We've planned some really original events," says Oli. "Mardi Gras events, Hawaiian Luaus, we're even planning a party with a Playboy Mansion theme for the fall."
